Research Data Engineering

Turning raw clinical and research data into datasets study teams can use.

From institutional OMOP builds to grant-funded data cores, the RDE team designs, pipelines, and maintains the data flow behind Wisconsin research so investigators spend their time on the science, not the plumbing.

Clinical Data Engineering

Clinical Common Data Model Datasets (OMOP)

We build and maintain an institutional OMOP dataset that can be subsetted for individual research projects so teams start from a shared, standards-based foundation instead of rebuilding one from scratch.

Report Automation

We build and schedule data pipelines for clinical datasets and recurring reports, replacing manual pulls with automated, repeatable delivery.

Dashboarding

Dashboard support for research projects

We support dashboard and visualization development for research projects, turning underlying datasets into views that project teams can monitor and explore on their own.

Grant-Funded Data Core Support

We stand up and run the data infrastructure behind funded data cores and repositories, from organizing the data itself to fielding requests from external researchers.

Data Organization

Structuring and maintaining core datasets so they stay usable as they grow.

Data Request Support

Handling and fulfilling researcher requests for access to core data.

Data cores we support

REACH
